We are a group of string musicians dedicated to providing high quality performances for all your functions and events. Our seasoned performers have university degrees and were all selected due to their outstanding musicianship.

We offer a wide variety of possibilities from one solo player to a string quartet or quintet.

The quality that sets our music apart from others is being able to accommodate special music requests. We have dozens of music samples from all genres, however if you have particular songs that are special to you and would like them performed at your wedding ceremony or other special event, we will work to accommodate your unique wishes.

Every wedding ceremony, reception, or other event is special and unique to the style and personality of each person or couple. BIOS

Muriel Orcutt--violin and viola
Founder of NESU

Muriel was born in Bordeaux, France. She attended the Bordeaux Conservatoire de Musique and the Paris Ecole de Musique receiving a 1st Prize in Violin in both schools. She came to America to study under Raphael Hyllier from Julliard and received a Bachelor of Music degree from American University in Washington, D.C. She taught violin at Pau Conservatory in France for four years before returning to America. She then obtained a Master's degree in Music Education from the University of NH. She has played with the Bordeaux Symphony Orchestra, the Pau Chamber orchestra in France and the NH Philharmonic Orchestra. She was a soloist for the Pau Chamber Orchestra in France and the Nashua Chamber Orchestra. Muriel has been very active in developing strings in NH. She was president of the NH Chapter of The American String Teacher association  from 1999 to 2001. She was named  NHASTA String Teacher of the year  in 2000 and 2005. Her Goffstown students recently performed for John Lynch, the present governor of NH. She is principal second violin of the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra and plays with the NH Fiddle Ensemble under the direction of Ellen Carlson. Muriel enjoys speaking French with her son Pierre and her bilingual cat Minou!


Dr. Wendy Jensen--violin
Founder of NESU


Wendy studied violin with Ellis Chasens and Jessica Helie, and chamber music under Dr. Martin LeBeau and Matthew Laughlin. She is active in the community, playing first violin for the Connecticut River Valley Orchestra, as well as numerous community and professional orchestral productions. Wendy is also a practicing homeopathic veterinarian and has degrees from Cornell and the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine.

Alison graduated from U Mass Lowell.

Susan has degrees from the University of Vermont and Iowa State University.
